I’m participating in Publishing for Minnesota, a community fundraising auction organized by authors, illustrators, agents, editors, and marketers like me who believe in showing up for our neighbors when it matters.
In response to ongoing ICE raids and federal actions that are causing real harm to immigrant communities, this auction is raising funds for organizations in Minnesota that provide legal aid, emergency assistance, food access, and essential community resources.
Auction Dates
Thursday 1/29 – Friday 1/30
How the Auction Works
This auction is designed to be simple and transparent:
- Browse the auction and place a bid on an item
- When the auction closes, the highest bidder chooses an approved organization and donates directly to them
- Proof of donation is submitted to the organizers
- The donor is then connected with the item provider to receive their item
See the full list of eligible donation organizations and browse all 500+ items in the auction.
What I’m Donating

I’m donating a Professional Marketing and Website Review for Authors, Entrepreneurs, or Small Businesses. (Also open to entrepreneurs and small businesses!) This is a $200 value!
This review is meant to give you clarity, not overwhelm. I take a strategic look at your overall online presence, including:
- Branding and positioning
- Website clarity and usability
- Social media platforms
- Email list and reader or customer journey
You’ll receive a comprehensive PDF with clear, actionable feedback, plus a 15-minute AMA call with me to ask questions and talk through next steps.
Why This Matters
This auction is about supporting people who are being directly impacted right now, while also valuing the skills and work of the creative community.
If you’re able to bid, share the auction, or pass it along to someone who might benefit, thank you. Small actions, taken together, add up.
